Another process of Video-making

Our group had finally done an interview. Based on our topic about SMEs, we choose a small barbershop in West Jakarta to be our target to represent the small enterprise. The interview process was going well because the respondent was really cooperative and friendly. The respondent is the owner of this small barbershop named “Jazcut” , his name is Ipul. Ipul was very open to us. We discussed a lot about small businesses and we got a lot of information. After that, we had a consultation with our lecturer, ms. Ratih and we understand more about what exactly we are going to present in our video project.

The next day, we visited the Ministry of Small Medium Enterprises in order to make an appointment with their staff first. However, fortunately, the staff was available at that time, so we just directly went to his office to begin the interview process with this person named Mr. Taufiq. He is the head of International Relations section of this ministry. He was very nice and intelligent. We got a lot of information from him related to our topic. Our questions are also answered perfectly by him. He's so professional.

In my personal opinion, I like this project because I can explore more about the information of SMEs and I can meet new people and expand my networking. I can also know about the people experiences who owned the SME. I am able to know the point of view of the government by visiting the Ministry. To be honest, it's awesome for me to have a discussion about something with the expert. However, other than those fun, knowledgeable, and memorable experiences, this project is time-consuming for me because our group have to search for many references, resources and respondents and also editing the video. If we do not have a good time management, it's harder for us to produce maximum result. Moreover, as an International Relations student, we already had plenty assignments to do, so we probably have limited time.

But overall, this project is really useful for us to understand better about these economic phenomenon in details. Hope that our group will have the best video!:).
