The Economic Liberalism and International Trade

If we talk about International trade, there is one major perspective that contribute a lot of influences to the International trade system, and it is the Economic liberalism. Economic Liberalism basically encourage free trade activities between countries because they believe that trade can boost the national and even the world economy as a whole. They believe so, because they think that through the free trade, countries can maximise their economic efficiency and therefore prosperity is achieved.

The statement by the economic liberalists can be proved by what happen in China. China is one of  the country who has a very high economic growth. According to some resources, China's economy is the world's fastest-growing major economy, with growth rates averaging 10% over the past 30 years.China has a very high economic growth because they are more efficient in producing output at cheaper prices, due to its cheap prices, the demand of the goods will increase and thus their export will increase. Because of this significant economic benefit through international trade that experienced by China, a lot of countries are also try to maximize their goods to be sold in the international market. Then, it leads to a higher competitiveness.

Related to the development of International trade nowadays, of course economic liberalism have a very huge influence in encouraging the trade activities. With the principal of economic liberalism that trade can improve the economy efficiency and prosperity, the people will assume that trade can be the best way in improving the economy. 

So, nowadays, the economic liberalism remain influential to the development of International trade by encouraging  trade activities and also the trade system becoming easier now due to the globalization process. Trade is becoming more efficient as well, because people are competing to produce a high quality products with cheaper cost of production. There are more choices of goods, the goods prices are relatively cheap, and the transportation access is way much easier now. Therefore the international trade keep improving.
